Ghanaian investigative journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni has revealed why many churches will stop supporting the building of the National Cathedral.
The construction of the National Cathedral has currently become controversial in the country.
The President of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo days ago released an amount of Ghc200 million for the foundation of the project.
This has got many Ghanaians talking ever since the President made the contribution.
There were also reports that the construction of the National Cathedral has halted due to lack of funds to pay the workers.
However, Manasseh Azure Awuni has shared his observation about the National Cathedral.
According to the Ghanaian investigative journalist, many churches will stop supporting the project if they are forced to give part of their income for the construction of the Cathedral.
In a post sighted on Twitter, he said, “Many churches will stop supporting the National Cathedral if they are forced to give part of their income to build it.”
