With two matches to end the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League, GPL season, it is still not clear which two sides played will join Elmina Sharks to relegation.
WAFA, Eleven Wonders, RTU, King Faisal Babes and Dreams FC are all involved in the relegation bracket and, they could all drop out of the GPL this season.
WAFA, who are in the bottom three, needs to win all of their remaining matches and hope other results favour them to stand in with a chance of playing top-flight football next season.
They will host fellow strugglers Eleven Wonders on Sunday at the Red Bull Arena, Sogakope where they will look for the win to boost their survival hopes.
Eleven Wonders after this game, will play at home to Aduana FC in their final game of the campaign, and, they could save their season with a win and hope other results on the final day of the campaign goes in their favour.
RTU will welcome King Faisal Babes to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Tamale on Sunday knowing nothing but a win will save their season.
They lie in the bottom three and, a win in this game as well as in their final GPL game of the campaign against Hearts of Oak in Accra next weekend, could help them avoid the drop.
King Faisal can afford to drop points against RTU and win their final game against Legon Cities to stay up the league.
Dreams FC are also in a precarious situation as they will need to win their final two matches to be sure of staying up.
They play Berekum Chelsea away on Sunday before returning to Dawu for their final game of the campaign to close the season.
The next couple of games in the GPL will certainly be interesting in determining the two sides to join Elmina Sharks in the National Division One League, DOL next season.
