Popular writer for NPP, PK Sarpong following the ongoing criticisms of Paul Adom-Otchere for bitting the hand that fed him, has revealed made against former President John Agyekum Kufour by Togbe Afede after giving him appointment.
He made this assertion in a post on his official Facebook page on Saturday, 11th June 2022.
According to PK Sarpong Togbe Afede was appointed to the Bank of Ghana Board by Former President John Agyekum Kufuor but made the statement below against Kufour.
“Voltarians desired change because for the past eight years, we were made to feel like outsiders. That is why our people voted for you,” he declared. (Togbe Afede XIV) to Prof. Mills.
PK therefore argued that to those who are chastising Paul Adom-Otchere, this was cool and did not mean he had ‘bitten the hand that fed him’.
“Togbe Afede showed appreciation by these against JAK and the NPP, according to these moral lecturers. Principles remain principles no matter who or what is involved. Principles don’t change no matter what happens.” He wrote.
The NPP writer added that per the logic being advanced by those who claim Paul Adom-Otchere has not shown appreciation to Togbe-Afede for paying his school fees, then Togbe’s ingratitude towards Kufuor can only be described as ‘top notch’.
“If Paul is in the wrong for merely showing harmless chats between him and Togbe Afede to defend himself, then what Togbe Afede XIV did to President John Agyekum Kufuor was egregiously awful! “. He ended.
Background
Paul Adom-Otchere a journalist and host of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV has come under public scrutiny after wading into the issue of ex-gratia refunded by Togbe Afede.
