The long serving political party in Ghana the National Democratic Congress whose core mandate is deeply rooted in probity and accountability have had a colourful celebration of the party’s 30 years anniversary at the GNAT hall Accra under the theme “Development our goal”.
The Functional Executive Committee FEC, approved the event which was slated on 10th June, 2022 earlier on 17th May to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the party as well as the June 4th uprising as well as the recognition of the Day
The NDC’s role and contribution in Ghana’s development can never be overemphasized which stands as a remarkable factor stretching from the era of Flt Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings, John Evans Atta Mills and the evergreen John Dramani Mahama.
Development of infrastructures and social amenities in the realm of asphalted roads, schools, health facilities, portable drinking, water, dams, electricity projects and above them all, significant social and economic interventions ranging from employment creation, agriculture development, quality education were all the necessities the NDC gave to the country which is unprecedented
The 2020 flagbearer John Dramani Mahama, the General Secretary Johnson Asiedu Nketiah aka General Mosquito, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and all other party gurus stormed the anniversary celebration to make it a success but despite the strong and vibrant speech of John Dramani Mahama, Haruna Iddrisu exposed the NPP and also lowered their achievements.
According the minority leader in Parliament Honourable Haruna Iddrisu; “Whether Nana Addo boast of Tamale interchange or Kejetia projects, the foundation stone was laid by the National Democratic Congress” he stated categorically
The minority leader strongly believes what the NDC has given to Ghanaians is far better than the NPP if you are to match every single project boot for boot the solid foundation of JJ Rawlings, John Atta Mills and John Dramani Mahama was far better than today’s economic hardship and impoverishment.
The NDC is doing all it can to capture political power from the incumbent NPP whose leadership is suffocating Ghanaians with unending suffering looking at the sustained increments of goods and services coupled with the electronic levy.
