It was all sad and painful in Japan this morning because the Black Stars of Ghana lost heavily against the Japanese national team.
Ghanaian fans were of high hope that by the time the first game against Japan comes to an end they will be jubilating but unfortunately the team and the home fans got embarrassed.
The game between the Black Stars of Ghana and Japan ended in a 4-1 score in favor of the Japanese men national team.
The Black Stars of Ghana started very well in the first half of the game but luck did not smile of their faces. They conceded the first goal of the game on the 29th minute. Ghana pulled one back through Jordan Ayew’s 44th minute strike. But unfortunately, Japan added another one on the 45+1 minute to make it 2-1.
After the second half resumed, the Ghanaian players played even better than the first half but everything changed when the Ghanaian coach made the first change for the Black Stars.
Otto Addo, the coach of Ghana changed a defender and brought in an attacking midfielder who is also a winger. Before all this, the Japanese team was already playing better than the Ghanaian team and the coach could have done better.
After that change, the Black Stars conceded the third goal through Takefusa Kubo and subsequently they added the last goal of the game to make it 4-1.
The substitution made by the technical coach can be said to be associated with the Black Stars’ heavy lost in Japan.
