Captain Smart has been reacting to many issues in this country as we all know and now he is claiming he is fed up with the attitude of some of his own colleagues. Most people in the media business have switched from their roles according to Captain Smart and he thinks it is because of the influence of money and the lack of truth and sincerity. Media journalists are supposed to report to the entire nation whatever is going on and whatever is being kept a secret. But in Ghana and among many groups, truth is a word never heard because they refuse to speak the truth.
Captain Smart has descended on one of his own and gotten a nickname through it. Captain Smart has reacted to the issue of Togbe Afede returning the ex gratia funds back to the government coffers and has a question for Paul Adom Otchere. As for Captain Smart, he claims he is not so surprised but his question is that should he, Togbe Afede be praised rather for keeping the money? If Paul claims this was a populist gesture and was one that was purported to create the drama that came with it then should he have kept it instead?
He descended on his collegaue in the media journalist business and revealed that he needs to vacate his post if this is the kind of journalism we are going to see from him and his likes. Captain Smart says politicians should open up as politicians and identity as such so that journalists can do same about their profession. He wants a line to be drawn between journalists and politicians because what Paul is doing on live screens is a disgrace. Captain Smart has actually applauded Togbe Afede for this gesture and it seems Togbe will be trending for a while within this month for the ‘magnanimous donation’ back into government coffers.
