Austria based Ghana winger, Seth Paintsil says he will really be surprised if he gets a senior national team call up.
Paintsil has made 20 appearances, scoring four goals with two assists for Austrian Bundesliga club, TSV Hartberg this season. The 26-year-old is yet to taste senior national team football despite his younger brother Joseph currently with the Black Stars.
Seth Paintsil who started his career now Division One club, BA United after joining them from now defunct Red Bull Soccer Academy spoke to Radio Gold TalkSport. “I will really be surprised because I wasn’t expecting it. “Because I wasn’t part of the selection and in a good way, my name is in the World Cup.
“That will be really surprising but will really be happy though.” Seth Paintsil told Radio Gold TalkSport. He has previously played for Finnish club FF Jaro and Austria sides, Admira and SV Ried before landing in Hartberg.
