Turkish League Player Feels He Deserves Black Stars Callup.

Kayserispor midfielder Joseph Larweh believes he should have been included in Otto Addo’s squad for the AFCON Qualifiers. The player despite his solid performance for his club was not selected in the squad to play Ghana’s recent matches which featured matches against Madagascar, the Central African Republic, and now Japan.

The former Under 20 player featured in 37 matches for his club managing to put the ball at the back of the net twice. In an interview with Metro TV, the former Tema Youth star said that he deserved a chance to play for the Black Stars.

“I was not surprised by Black Stars snub but then I think I did enough to earn a callup.” He said he will do his best next season in order to earn the callup for the national team. He helped his club to lift the 2021-2022 Turkish Cup and will be hoping to do the same next season.
