A woman has opened up on how her ex-boyfriend’s father has been spending the money his son used to send for their daughter without giving her part of the money to cater for the child. In the woman’s narration, she got pregnant with a man named Akwasi Acqua who was a driver but he didn’t take care of her after getting pregnant for him.
The woman said life became difficult for her so she travelled back to her hometown, she didn’t hear anything from Akwasi till she gave birth. One month later, she got information that her boyfriend has gotten married. The woman said she came back to Kumasi when the child was 1 year old, she tried calling her child’s father but his phone was still switched off. She then went back to Nzema to stay with her grandmother.
Unfortunately, her daughter got a small wound on his leg after she fell, she tried to treat the wound in the house but it became worse. Due to financial problems, she was not able to be sent to the hospital. She tried calling Akwasi but he told her that he doesn’t care about what will happen to the child. She went for a loan of GH1400 for the child’s treatment. The woman said she went back to Kumasi after the wound was healed.
She went to visit the Akwasi’s father to let him know that they have come back to Kumasi. The woman again said she got her ex-boyfriend’s new contact from his father. She called him and this time he sent money to his father to give it to her on several occasions but when she went to the father, he told her that he has spend the money. The mother of one said she was recently arrested because she has not been able to pay the loan she took for the child’s treatment but her ex-boyfriend’s father always spent the money his son sent for their child.
