This comes at the back of the minority in parliament storming out of the chambers after the announcement made by the majority to consider the second reading of the e-levy.

The minority before the passing of the e-levy bill denounced their participation in further proceedings with regards to the e-levy since all the members have opposed the approval of the controversial bill.

We want to be recorded that when the E-Levy was brought to the 8th Parliament, we stood together, we opposed it, we asked for its rejection and we said we would not support it,” the minority said.

Speaking in an interview on the Delay Show with Deloris Frimpong Manso, Hon. Sam George intimated that the minority and concerned members of the NDC have not given up on the fight even though they stormed out of the chamber during the approval of the bill.
