Ghana, since the attainment of the Fourth republic, has massively been influenced by two major political parties though there are others. The two major political parties are the New Democratic Congress, which has the Former President of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, as the current flagbearer and the New Patriotic Party, which has H.E Nana Addo Dankwaa Akuffo-Addo as the flagbearer.
However, as the President of Ghana and flagbearer of the New Patriotic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo’s tenure of office is almost over, there have been several aspirants who want to take over from President Akuffo-Addo as the flagbearer. In the light of this, host of “With All Due Respect” and editor of loud silence media, Kelvin Ekow conducted a survey. His survey was the decide who will succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo as the President.
Interestingly, according to the statistics, Alan John Kyerematen, who is Ghana’s current minister for trade and industry, won with 74.7% of the total vote. This constitutes about 2171 votes out of the 2908 total votes count. Contrary, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia polled out with 25.3% of the total vote. This also constitutes about 735 votes out of the 2908 total vote count.
