The Bono Regional Chairman Kwame Baffoe Abronye is very hot pending the upcoming Bono Regional elections on Sunday. His best friend Chairman Thomas whom they both ruled in separate Regions has lost his bid to be retained.
Many political pundits have predicted that, the energy used in removing Abronye’s best friend from office could happen to Abronye himself on Sunday.
Today, delegates in the Bono East Region voted massively against Abronye’s friend Chairman Thomas Adu Appiah. His main contender Ibrahim Baba Bukari garnered a whooping 151 votes against the incumbent Chairman Thomas. Chairman Thomas secured paltry 78 votes. That’s very few as compared to the votes of Baba Bukari.
Below is the official votes as declared by the Electoral Commission of Ghana. Fans and supporters of Kwame Baffoe Abronye should put up their best to campaign for him. If not, they may not hear a good news on Sunday.
Congratulations to the newly elected Bono East Regional Chairman, all the best to Abronye.
