Asante Kotoko’s GPL game with Medeama SC at Tarkwa moved to Sunday to accommodate their schedule

Asante Kotoko’s Ghana Premier League, GPL Matchday 31 game at Tarkwa this weekend, has been moved to Sunday.

The fixture was initially set to come off on Monday at the Akoon Community Park (ACP) but, with the Porcupines set to play three matches within a span of seven days, the game has been moved to accommodate their fixture schedule.

It will now be played on Sunday afternoon at the same venue as Kotoko continue with their quest to win the title this season.

The Porcupines are six points ahead of Medeama SC who are second on the table although the home side has played a game more than Kotoko.

That game in hand for the Porcupines will be against their regional rivals AshantiGold SC and, it is due to be played next week Thursday.

This game will come just after Kotoko’s game with Medeama SC this Sunday, and, it will be played at the Len Clay Stadium at Obuasi.

Kotoko will then head to the capital to face Accra Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium next Sunday to complete a marathon fixture list for the Reds.

Kotoko will go into this weekend’s encounter with Medeama SC on the back of a poor run of form lately after winning just one game in their last five encounters.

They will look to make amends against the Yellow and Mauves as they seek to win the diadem this season.
