Neglect and abandonment are always painful even for adults. Therefore, imagining a mother who’s supposed to give her ward an immense embrace and acceptance but instead chose to leave her child in the cold can be nothing beneath horrible. No matter what the excuse may be.
However, we can’t only apportion accusations at the mother because it takes two people to create a new life on Earth. A responsible father takes care of his children, protects, and supports his family.
A picture going viral on social media captured market women picking up a neglected baby by the roadside. The baby was accompanied by a note or letter explaining why the mother had to leave.
According to the letter, the mother showed remorse for what she had done and pleaded that somebody adopts her child. She explained that life has been hard and that she has no money to take care of herself and her child hence her decision to abandon the child. She reiterated that the father of the child provides no support whatsoever.
