US-based Ghanaian Gospel artiste Sonnie Badu has finally replied to his critics over the tattoo he has drawn on his arm.
A few days ago, some social media users lambasted the gospel artist after a photo of him popped up on the internet showing the tattoo drawn on his arm. His tattoo drawn on his arm got the attention of many while he was ministering on stage. He wore a short-sleeved black top that displayed the mark.

One of his fans who first raised concerns was ‘naaa.Dubea’. She said: @sonniebaduuk do you know God frowns on tattoos? I really like your songs but this tattoo on your hand and as a man of God too you should know better.
Reacting to the criticism on social media in a recent interview with ZionFelix, the artist Sonnie Badu stated emphatically that the criticism from netizens concerning his decision to have a tattoo is not relevant to him.
He explained that if his wife and family have nothing against his tattoo, he does not see why the opinions or criticism of others should matter to him.

Sonnie Badu explained that when it comes to wrong or right, the bible either supports certain things or does not. However, he feels that the body is something that does not matter when it comes to man’s relationship with God because when a person dies, the soul is what is important to God.
He added that it’s high time people change their mindset about things with regards to how they view things like tattoos to be a sin against God.
