2 Samuel 9:11 …As for Mephibosheth, said the king, he shall eat at my table, as one of the king’s sons.
Mephibosheth was numbered among the people with disability after he fell from his mothers hand when she was fleeing from danger. He resorted to begging on the streets for the rest of his life but his story changed one day when David asked if there is a membwr of the house of Jonathan he could show kindness to.
God lifted Mephibosheth from the beggars floor to the the King’s table of glory and honor. I believe he had his own enemies who were fighting against his destiny but God remembered him and showed him mercy. He was raised and set at the table of blessings and goodness.
A lot of us can relate to the story of Mephibosheth today. God wants to prepare a table for you in the presence of your enemies.
God cannot do anything unless you pray. Your prayer will make a difference in your life.
1 John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us.
●Oh Lord prepare a table of permanent blessings before me in the presence of my enemies. Satisfy me with with your goodness and let all those who hate me be embarrassed in defeat in the name of Jesus. AMEN!
