Top Government Appointee Sacked By President Akufo-Addo; Told To Cease Office And Hand-Over.

A Top Government appointee Honorable Michael Arthur Dadzie has been sacked by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo. The dismissed appointee has been told to cease holding himself in office later than yesterday 29th April, 2022.

Again, he has been ordered to hand over every official document to Honorable Hawa Koomson who is the Minister for Fisheries and Aquah Culture.

An official letter signed by the executive Secretary to the President, Nana Bediatuo Asante gave out the clear orders. The exact cause of the dismissal was however not stated. Moreover, the dismissed appointee is supposed to pick his three months salary in accumulation as specified by law.

Sacked Honorable Michael Ato Dadzie was the Executive Director for the Fisheries Commission of Ghana. He was appointed into office by Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo in consultation with the Fisheries Ministry on the 3rd October, 2018.

The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo wished him well and thanked him for his service to the country.
