An activist of Anlo land, Selorm Ameza has raised serious questions about the installation of Confidence Haugen, a popular “Slay Queen” as Mamaga (Queen Mother) of Anlo.
In a Facebook post on Friday, 29 April, 2022, Mr Selorm Ameza wondered if adequate background checks were carried out by the elders and kingmakers before settling on Confidence Haugen of the Big Brother Niger fame as the Queen Mother of Anlo.
He argued that the background of the now Mamaga of Anlo who has previously branded herself the “Grandmother of slaying and a top notch Slay Queen”, is a slap in the face of the values of the people of Anlo and their ancestors.
He lamented that the errotic pictures of Confidence Haugan on the internet “should not ever be the pictures that come into the minds of Anlo youth when they search to read more about their Queen.
