Ghanaian legend Sulley Muntari is courting interest from some African football giants following his impressive form for the Phobians in the Ghana Premier League. He joined Hearts of Oak in February this year after so many years abroad. In his seven games for the Phobians this season, he has scored a goal and assisted another 3. Muntari won the Presidents Cup with the Rainbow club by defeating perennial rivals Asante Kotoko and is part of the team that has reached the semi-finals of the FA Cup. Sulley has previously expressed his desire to play in South Africa preferably for Kaizer Chiefs but couldn’t get that the opportunity. Now that Orlando Pirates are circling for him, he might grab the opportunity if a concrete offer is made.
He has enormous experience and that will be of interest to Egyptian giants Al Ahly who are aiming to become the first African side to lift the club world cup trophy after finishing third in the previous 2 editions.
