Ex-Hearts of Oak player Winful Cobbina plays 90 minutes as Cleopatra beat Pyramids 1-0 in Egypt

Former Accra Hearts of Oak talismanic midfielder Winful Cobbina was in full action for Ceramica Cleopatra in midweek as they posted a 1-0 away win in the Egyptian league.

Cobbina played the full throttle in a highly tensed game on Wednesday against Pyramids FC who were the bookmakers favourites to win on home soil.

The former local Black Stars player was rated at 6.8 against their more highly favoured opponents who are third on the table.

This Matchday 16 win, is the third of the season for Cleopatra who climbed up the table to the 12th position with the three points gained.

Cleopatra has 17 points and, they will look to build on this performance as they seek to further climb up the table as the season unfolds.

In the same encounter, former Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu came off the bench to play 13 minutes for the winners and was rated at 6.5 whilst another Ghanaian Evans Mensah was an unused substitute for Cleopatra.

All three Ghanaians will hope to be in action on Saturday when they host Egyptian giants Al Ahly in a home game in the ongoing competition in the north African country.
