A leading member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Ashanti Region Afrifa Yamoah Ponko has said that the former Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana Prof Martey Emmanuel will not make it to heaven
He says with Ghana’s poor economy coupled with the numerous corrupt activities of the current government persons who were critical of the John Dramani Mahama’s administration have gone hiding.
Yamoah Ponko was speaking on Accra-based OKAYFM when he made this known.
“Nana Akufo-Addo says he is the President who has introduced free SHS so Ghanaian children are attending school for free and eating for free but in reality, it’s not a good thing. Why is everyone quiet about the fact that there is no food for the SHS students.
Especially the Pastors. Rev Martey is he still in Ghana? Tell him I said he will never go to heaven. He will hear of heaven, preach with heaven but he will not make it to heaven. God will decide who goes to heaven but when you see someone who won’t make it to heaven you will see it,” he said.
Yamoah Ponko said the likes of Rev Emmanuel Martey are hypocritical with the criticisms considering how loud they were during the NDC administration but have lost their voices after the NPP took over the administration of the country.
“He works with hypocrisy, he is not alone, other Pastors are involved and they will not make it to heaven. They work with their stomach and take monies from people to do their bidding. Rev. Martey asked for the wise people, the wise people came and they are stealing, raping and involved in homosexuality but he is quiet about all that,” Yamoah Ponko said.
