A Look At The Only Animal That Has A Bulletproof Body And Nothing Can Penetrate Its Body

There are many animals in the world that have intriguing features, you will be amazed to know that there is a particular animal in this world that has a bulletproof body and nothing can penetrate it. That animal is called Armadillos

Yes, Armadillos are the only animals in the world that have bulletproof bodies, the shells on their back are so strong that not even a bullet can penetrate their bodies. The word armadillo means “little armoured one” in Spanish.

Armadillos have a leathery shell that protects them from predators. A new study says humans might be able to do the same one day. Armadillos are the only animal in the world that has a bulletproof body and nothing can penetrate its body. Even lions can’t get through it! Amazing, right? While armadillos cannot be harmed by bullets, they cannot absorb bullets like other animals do. When an armadillo is shot with a gun or other weapon, the bullet will bounce off of its back or pierce through its shell and injure.

They can curl themselves into a ball when they feel threatened. This makes them look like a ball of scales and very hard to crack open even with bare hands. Some people tried to put a bullet on an armadillo but it just bounces back!

There are several species of armadillo and some of them can grow big up to 2 feet long and weigh more than 35 pounds! Not all of them live in the wild though as some species are already considered endangered. They’re also nocturnal animals which mean they sleep during the day and awake at night.

An armadillo’s diet consists mostly of insects, ants, termites, worms, grubs, and other invertebrates. They usually spend most of their time digging into the ground using their strong claws to search for food. When they dig, they leave behind holes that could be over 30 cm deep.
