Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Nartey Ogum has said his side is focused for the rest of the campaign as they seek to win the Ghana Premier League, GPL this season.
With nine matches to end the season, Asante Kotoko leads the standing by eight points and, they are the bookmakers favourites to win the diadem.
And, Coach Ogum said his side will not be carried away by their huge lead at the top as they chase their dream.
“We are not under any pressure to deliver the title, we are focused on the task ahead and will take the matches as they come”, Coach Ogum said.
The gaffer will lead his side to take on Legon Cities in their next game on Sunday as they continue their quest to wrestle the title.
This GPL Matchday 26 encounter will be played at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi where the Porcupines will look to preserve their lead on top of the stairs.
Kotoko will be huge favourites to collect the three points at stake against a Legon Cities side that has not been that impressive on their travels this season.
Coach Ogum will hope his charges will rise to the occasion on Sunday as they go for their 16th win of the campaign.
The Porcupines won the first round encounter in Accra and, they will look to complete the double over the Royals to move a step closer towards winning this season’s championship.
Kotoko lost their last game away to Real Tamale United and they will look to respond quickly and remain on track as they chase a record extending 25th GPL title.
