In the interview, Serwaa Broni made some huge allegations against the first Gentleman of the land. According to the nurse, she had an intimate relationship with the president, who she mentioned couldn’t even perform.
This interview has gone viral since Sunday with many still reacting to it. Sammy Gyamfi, the NDC National Communications Officer yesterday called on the president to be impeached for bringing dishonor to the seat of government. Well, on The Big Issues on TV3 today, Tuesday, April 19, 2022, Johnnie Hughes was joined by Malik Basintale, NDC Savannah Regional communications officer and George Ayisi, PRO at NADMO. Johnnie first greeted his panelists and asked them how they spent their Easter.
At that moment, Malik raised issues of how he had to spend Easter thinking about how Ghana’s security is threatened because of Akufo-Addo’s negligence and the rot at the CID where people will cover up things to molest Serwaa Broni. According to Malik, the president needs to be investigated because he has tainted the country’s reputation. At that juncture, Johnnie stopped him and corrected him that he only asked for how he spent the Easter and not about Serwaa Broni.
Johnnie explained that that topic isn’t up for discussion and so Malik should move away from that subject. Malik however insisted and told Mr. Ayisi to take the message to the Presidency that they have questions to answer from Ghanaians.
