‘Kwaku The Traveller‘ which was first performed at the 3Music Awards on March 26, 2022 and officially released at midnight on Wednesday, March 30 has peaked at Number 12 on the Billboard Top Triller Global Chart.
This comes after the said song peaked at number 2 0n Afrobeats Chart Top 20. Audio-slide of ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ has also surpassed four million views on YouTube.

Meanwhile; Afrobeats singing sensation, Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally called, Fireboy DML has yet again hit another global career milestone.
The YBNL Nation superstar’s chart topping record, ‘Peru’ bagged a remix with Grammy-award winning singer and songwriter, Edward Christopher Sheeran MBE, better known as Ed Sheeran.
The Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Peru’ has received Gold certification in the United States of America. In the U.S, a song is eligible for gold certification after selling over 500,000 units.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 14th, 2022, “Peru” has officially sold more than 500,000 units, therefore making it eligible for a gold-certified record.
This is coming few days after the same song was certified platinum in the United Kingdom after selling over six hundred thousand (600,000). Congratulation to Fireboy DML and Ed Sheeran.
