One of the popular media personalities by name Appiah Kubi claims Papa Shamo abandoned her mother when she got pregnant. Appiah Kubi added that, Papa Shamo is a man who does not take care of Children, because He (Appiah Kubi) did not enjoy any fatherly love from Papa Shamo. “You are very lucky that Captain Smart talk to me, I would have walk out of the studio before My father (Papa Shamo) will enter. Rather, Appiah Kubi should blame his mother for running away from him (Papa Shamo) when She was pregnant. “Do not blame me for being irresponsible, your mother is the cause of everything. When she got pregnant, I accepted the pregnancy to take full responsibility. But she run away from me and stayed in the village. So do not blame me for not taking care of you but blame your mother for running away with my Pregnancy.” – Papa Shamo reply Appiah Kubi.
Appiah Kubi also insisted that, if Papa Shamo should have been a responsible father, he could have follow the woman to the village and see how she is doing. But Papa Shamo never bordered to look for the pregnant woman.
