Ghana Coach Accuses Referee For Their Mysterious Defeat

Head coach of Bechem United, Kasim Mingle has blamed poor officiating for their 3-2 defeat against Eleven Wonders in week 25 on Sunday.

The Hunters were 2-0 up against Wonders as at the the 78th minute but mysteriously gave away the lead within 18 minutes to lose 3-2 at the Ohene Ameyaw Park in Techiman. The score line has since generated wild debate nationwide but Kasim Mingle has placed blame at the doorstep of the officials in charge on the day.

“The referee is responsible for our defeat. “Before the match, the Bank Roller came to inform us that we are not going to play any fixed match. “He told the boys to play for victory and nothing else. “I also told the boys the same thing. “Before the match, it was all over the place that, the score of the match will be 2:1. “By 85th minute we were 2:0 up but the referee decided to change the scoreline by his dubious decisions.” He told Akoma fm.

Bechem United could have cut Kotoko’s lead to five points if they won but the gap still stands at eight between them in second and Kotoko on top of the log. The Porcupine Warriors have 52 points as against Bechem United’s 44 after week 25.
