Satirist Kweku Sintim Misa, better known by his stage name KSM, has poured cold water on Nana Akufo Addo’s famed slogan, ‘the battle is the Lord’s’ in a new post he shared on Twitter.

KSM who has been very vocal about political issues in the country in recent times asserts that while Ghana has always turned to God for help, even with its developmental issues, it is never the Lord’s job to construct Ghana.
He argued it is time to hold those in positions of authority accountable in order to fix the nation rather than waiting for God to step in even when leadership and action are required.

“Don’t be DECEIVED. The RESPONSIBILITY of building a nation is “NOT THE LORD’S”. IT IS OURS. If we FORGET that, we will end up with an UNWANTED “HAIRCUT”” he said in a tweet.
