Hearts of Oak Forward Makes Black Galaxies Final Squad

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will participate in the 2023 Championship for Africa Nations to be staged in Algeria in January.

The Black Galaxies qualified ahead of their sworn rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria over two legs and will be making it for the first time since 2014.

The Black Galaxies beat former Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak by 2-1 after a good come back at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.

The Black Galaxies also managed to beat top flight side, Legon Cities fc by 2-0 at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence to shape up for the tournament.

Coach Annor Walker has settled on a 25-man squad for the tournament but he has dropped two key players from Hearts of Oak, Seidu Suraj and defender, Caleb Amankwa who he recently invited by the news coach of the Black Galaxies, Annor Walker who might leave his post after the tournament. Accra Hearts of Oak forward, Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has made the final list.
