Asante Kotoko Fight Back To Beat Berekum Chelsea

Kumasi Asante Kotoko fought back from a goal down to win by two(2) goals to one(1) on the matchday 9 of the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupie Warriors were down by a goal but Serge Zeze and Steven Mukwala were on target for the Kumasi base club as they mounted a comeback to win the three points that was on offer to send them to the second place on the Ghana Premier League log.

Steven Mukwala was awarded the man of the match after his impressive performance in the match and the player took to his social media account to share inspiring words to his fans. On his twitter page, the player wrote “A Warrior’s Spirit that Never gives Up amidst All forms of Critics #M9. Great Win, Massive fight Back from the Boys”

Kotoko will now travel to Dormaa to face Aduana Stars on 1st January, 2023 and subsequently host Accra Great Olympics at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
