Thirty Young Coaches Undertake GFA License Courses

The Ghana Football Association’s Licence C coaching course has risen to a crescendo at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence.

The 10-day module II started on December 14 and will end on 24th with participants undertaking studies in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and goalkeeping training.

Thirty coaches have already completed the phase I and the mandatory attachment and practicals with Ghanaian football clubs.

The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation is a lifesaving technique which is very important in a case like heart attack.

With a spate of global cardiovascular attacks among footballers in recent times, it was necessary the participants are given training in such areas to help emergency cases on match days.

The goalkeeping session is supervised by ex-Ghana goalkeeper, Abukari Damba.

Some of the notable names undertaking the course include ex-Black Stars goalkeeper, Fatawu Dauda who was recently appointed the U-20 goalkeeper’s trainer.

Former Asante Kotoko and TP Mazembe midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei is part of the participants.
