Accra Hearts of Oak beat Nsoatreman FC 1-0 to end their unbeaten home run in the Ghana league

Glorious Accra Hearts of Oak handed Nsoatreman FC their first ever loss on home soil in Ghanaian top-flight football after beating them today at Nsoatre.

The Phobians posted a slim 1-0 win over the debutants at the Nana Kromansah Park in their betPawa Premier League Matchday Nine clash this afternoon.

Striker Kwadjo Obeng Junior, scored the lone goal for the capital club in the 54th minute as they carried on from where they left off before the season went on a break.

Hearts of Oak with this win moves to second on the table with 16 points, three points behind leaders Aduana FC, heading into the next round of fixtures.

This was an encounter the Phobians managed very well for the 90+7 minutes that it lasted as they silenced the home side who had promised to halt their good run.

Nsoatreman FC are seventh on the table with 13 points, having now lost their last two league games.

Hearts of Oak will next play Bechem United at home in the league on New Year’s Day with Nsoatreman FC away to King Faisal Babes in Kumasi.
