Ghanaian retail outlet Melcom Plus branch in Accra has overbilled a buyer with items which she only realized after getting home and checking the receipt against the items bought.
The buyer who happens to be an entrepreneur said she has been cheated twice by the same Melcom outlet, therefore, Ghanaians should be extra careful in their yuletide season.
Several customers of the company under the thread revealed that is the modus operandi of the staff of some Melcom retail outlets as they tend to bill customers for items not bought as part of a scheme from which they allegedly benefit.
As a reminder, Melcom Limited is Ghana’s largest chain of retail department stores. Their Head Office is located at 2nd Palace Link Road, North Industrial Area, Accra.
