OFFICIAL: Hearts of Oak to Release Captain This Week

Accra Hearts of Oak are set to officially release one of their prized assets before the year ends.

The Phobians have told some two key players to look for clubs elsewhere as they are deemed surplus to requirement by Serbian head coach, Slavko Matic.

The Phobians have already extended the contracts of their two key players which will see them stay at the club until 2025.

The two key players whose contracts have been extended until 2025 are rugged defensive midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen who has returned from South Africa after a successful surgery.

The player whose contract has been extended until 2025 is former West Africa Football Academy goalkeeper, Richmond Ayi.

However captain, Fatawu Mohammed has been told alongside Mohammed Alhassan to look elsewhere for a new club. The Phobians started the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season on a poor note after claiming just two points from their three opening games.
