According to fast-rising Ghanaian rapper and singer Black Sherif, the goals he has for his music career have made him more committed than before.
Speaking in an interview with Radar Africa and Spotify about his transition from a young boy with a dream to a mainstream artiste who now wields immense power with his music, Blacko rightly mentioned that instead of just rapping about everyday things, he now uses his songs to deliver important messages.
The interview which primarily centred on his background and how his experiences have influenced his music saw the Kwaku The Traveller hitmaker recalling the moment he realized how profound his lessons have become after someone performed one of his songs to him.

Similarly, Bulldog recently spoke highly of Black Sherif when he took his regular place on the popular United programme on UTV hosted by UTV.
The former artist of Shatta Wale asserted that the ingenuity of the high-flying artist shows he’s actually the black star in the middle of Ghana’s flag which signifies the hope of Africa.

When discussing Black Sherif’s achievements to date with other panellists hosted by Nana Ama Mcbrown on the show, Bulldog credited the artist’s quick rise to being conscious of himself.
He stated, “If you listen to him, he is conscious of himself and where he is, and that is the reason he needs to achieve his present milestone. This young man is alert and aware of his surroundings. Keep an eye on him; he is Ghana’s true Black Star. He is represented by the black star on the flag,” he emphasized.
