Two persons have been confirmed dead in an Accident at Denkyira Ayanfuri.
An shop owner and a motor rider were crashed to death when a saloon car rammed into a shop.
Per eyewitnesses’ narration, the saloon car plying Ayanfuri- Wass Akropong road failed brake and rammed into a motorcycle before veering into a shop.
The shop owner and one other who were in front of the shop, were crashed.
While the shop owner died on the spot, the motor driver was pronounced dead at the Dunkwa government hospital.
The others who were injured are receiving treatment at the same hospital.
With some few days to Christmas, the National Road Safety Authority (NRSA) has cautioned drivers and other road users to strictly adhere to road traffic regulations to prevent the crashes that are associated with the festive season.
Drivers are to avoid wrongful overtaking, overloading of vehicles and talking on phone while driving.
