Stop Behaving Like Akufo-Addo – Pablo Told

The retained National Youth Organiser of the opposition of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Opare Addo has been advised to concentrate on the mandate that has been bestowed on him to lead the young wing.

Mr Opare Addo, after winning his re-election bid went on a media tour to respond to his critiques, launching a scathing attack on Sammy Gyamfi, the National Communications Officer.

Mr Opare Addo, also known as Pablo, accused Sammy Gyamfi of having unexplained wealth with a plush mansion at Airport Hill residential area

It appears, many in the NDC are not happy with Pablo’s .

However, a member of the Communication Team of the NDC, Mahmud Kabore, the one making the call, adds that Opare Addo is behaving like President Akufo-Addo.

Speaking on Accra-based Neat FM last Wednesday, December 14, says Pablo should rather be reconciliatory and bring everyone on board.

“He is behaving like Nana Akufo-Addo, maybe because he is also called. In election 2020, Nana Akufo-Addo thought because of the Free SHS and other policies the margin of victory was going to be bigger than that of 2016. When the margin reduced and Parliament became very close, he couldn’t celebrate his victory.

“In 2018, you (Opare Addo) won with a landslide even though you had not served as a youth organiser before. This time, it was a verdict on your stewardship and you struggle to escape

“I don’t know if it is the pain that’s making him speak like Akufo-Addo. The advice I’m giving him is that when you win an election, you have major responsibilities – to deliver on your mandate and unite the people within your domain’, he said.
