Ghana’s most popular sex therapist on radio and television and multiple international award winner Akumaa Mama Zimbi, known in private life as Dr. Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi, has said that she is the pioneer of a relationship talk show on radio and Tv in the country.

She made the above-mentioned proclamation at the just-ended RPT Awards where she won three differ t awards including the developmental talk show of the year and the RTP women influencer award.

Y’all know that Akumaa Mama Zimbi has a show christened “Odo Ahomaso” which airs on Adom 106.3FM since its maiden edition in somewhere the month of August 2000.

Zimbi’s “Odo Ahomaso” brings together outstanding personalities, seasoned motivational speakers and well-experienced speakers on marriage, love and sex to teach, discuss and also solve related issues. The program is very engaging, informative, and educative.

Explicit contents are shown and discussed which could seduce or get viewers to arouse as well, so viewer discretion is always advised. Even though it is a program for the mature, the presentation is youthfully backed with real-life experiences.

It is very motivational and involving. The show also projects the philosophy that sex is an exclusive right for only married couples, and therefore it preaches No Marriage No Sex.

Odo Ahomaso remains one of the longest-running and most consistent late-night show on family, relationship, marriage and sex in the history of Ghanaian radio and television, and it is carried nationwide and worldwide by several affiliates, local and international, radio stations.

The truth is, Akumaa Mama Zimbi has become a cultural icon for her philanthropic works, humanitarian works and her ability to use the media to solve peoples’ problems.

She is also the Founder and Executive Director of Mama Zimbi Foundation (MZF), a non-governmental organization that seeks to empower and support widows through its Widows Alliance Network (WANE) project, and also involve in the issues of adolescents (Adolescents Sexual Reproductive Health).
