Accra Hearts of Oak have surprisingly sacked one of their trusted players who helped them win the domestic treble last two seasons.
The Phobians have already dispensed with the services of some key players in a bid to clean up the system.
One of the players who has been told to look for a new club is long serving captain, Fatawu Mohammed who played a role in their domestic treble last two seasons.
The Phobians started the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season on a very bad note after chalking just two points from their first three opening games of the season.
Hearts of Oak achieved those poor results under the tutelage of former head coach, Samuel Boadu.
The Phobians have since replaced Samuel Boadu with Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic and the club looks in good shape.
The Serbian trainer has transformed the Phobians into a winsome side since taking charge of the club after the departure Samuel Boadu.
One of the latest players to be told to look for a new club is Mohammed Alhassan who joined the Phobians from relegated West Africa Football Academy.
