Bright Kankam Boadu, an astute sports journalist of Kumasi-based Pure FM fame, has called on GPRTU and market women to reduce lorry fares and prices of goods in the market.
The call comes at the back of reports on how the American Dollar has declined in value against the Ghanaian Cedi.

As of Friday, December 16, 2022, the US dollar depreciated, thereby, trading against the cedi at a buying rate of 7.99975 and a selling price of 8.0055. A few days ago, the dollar was initially selling at GHC14.000.

Following the development, Ghanaians including the sports journalist have been expecting to see the prices of goods and services reduced drastically.
However, it has been reported that traders and services are refusing to reduce the price of their commodities and services.
