New boys in the Ghana Premier League, Kotoku Royals have confirmed the sacking of their Head Coach Seth Ablade.
Kotoku Royals returned to the top flight of the Ghana Premier League after a long absence but have failed to live up to expectations. The Eastern Region based club have only racked up just four points from the eight matches played in the premier league and are currently last on the league table. This has threatened another relegation for the club after making the big jump to the Ghana Premier league.
In a statement released by the club, the current assistant coach, Raphael Akakpo is set to take charge of the club before a permanent coach is appointed. The club in the statement said “Kotoku Royals Football Club have relieved Seth Ablade from official duties as head coach,” the club said in a statement. The club would like to thank the coach and wish him the very best in his future endeavours.”
Kotoku Royals will face Legon Cities next in the Ghana Premier league.
