Hearts of Oak Are Fed up With Chasing Top Striker

Accra Hearts of Oak might shut the door on one of their key players as the transfer window has opened.

The said player is Daniel Afriyie Barnieh who is playing hard to get by the club’s management and board.

Daniel Afriyie Barnieh has refused to renew his contract with the Phobians as it expires this month and the club’s top hierarchy are also fed with chasing Afriyie Barnieh.

The Phobians started the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season on a poor note after collecting just two points from three opening games of the season.

The Phobians chalked that feat under outgone head coach, Samuel Boadu who despite the poor start this season remains one of the club’s best coaches.

Samuel Boadu won five trophies in his two and a half year spell with the Phobians and that included a league title, two FA Cup titles and an automatic Super Cup.

The former Medeama SC Coach also won the President Cup against arch rivals, Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
