Hearts of Oak Suffer Defeat Against Black Galaxies

Accra Hearts of Oak failed to glitter against Ghana’s local Black Stars, the Black Galaxies.

The Phobians engaged the Black Galaxies in a friendly exercise at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram to prepare for the resumption of the domestic league.

The Black Galaxies are also using the game to prepare for the upcoming 2023 Championship for Africa Nations to be staged in Morocco in January.

The Phobians shot their noses in front in the first half through the boot of youngster, Yaw Amankwa Baafi but they could not hold on to the lead in the second half of the game.

The Black Galaxies fought back in the second half and were awarded a penalty kick which was expertly taken by Real Tamale United forward, Abagna Sandan.

The Black Galaxies increased the tally to 2-1 by kind courtesy Aduana Stars forward, Brigjt Adjei to put the game beyond the reach of the Phobians.

The Ghana Premier League resumes on Monday, December 19 across various venues in Ghana after it went on break for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
