Super Obondede, an astute sports journalist with Kumasi-based Light FM, has envisaged that the progress of Ghana football especially Black Stars rests solely on the retirement of Dede Ayew.
According to Super Obondede born Kojo Abu Bonsra, the politics in Black Stars is instigated by Dede Ayew’s eagerness to equalize the goals and appearance records of Asamoah Gyan.

He reiterated that football is a collective effort, therefore, there will never be progress if there’s a faction in the team as in the case of Black Stars which has been divided into Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew cartel or factions.

It’s worth knowing that the former mayor of Kumasi, Kojo Bonsu has also called for the retirement of Dede Ayew.
For the former mayor, Andre Ayew has done a lot for the Black Stars and deserves a befitting farewell to end his international career.
