Former Ghana Premier League champions, Accra Hearts of Oak will play the nation’s domestic national team, the Black Galaxies.
The game comes up on Sunday to help prepare the local Black Stars for the 2023 Championship for Africa Nations to be staged in Algeria in January.
The Black Galaxies qualified for the 2023 Championship for Africa nations after beating their arch rivals, Nigeria via the penalty shootouts to book the slot.
The friendly at the Accra Sports Stadium is meant to keep the national team in shape ahead of the major tournament in Algeria with head coach, Annor Walker bent on winning the ultimate.
Hearts of Oak on the other hand started the 2022/23 league season on a bad note under the departed Samuel Boadu whose parted the club on mutual grounds.
Samuel Boadu won five trophies in a space of two and half seasons but could not begin the season on a good note.
He guided them to just two points in three opening games of the season and that angered fhe club’s following leading to his sack.
The club replaced Samuel wwith Serbian trainer, Slavko Matic who has transformed the team so far to a winsome side.
