The rapper took to his official Twitter handle to share thus; “The World cup ain’t good for my health.”

No sooner had he made the post than a fan popped up to ask him about his addiction to cigars, as if to ask him which one is more harmful between the World Cup games and his penchant for smoking.

Similarly, there was deafening noise greeting Dede Ayew’s goal against Portugal during their Group H opener in the ongoing World Cup on Thursday across the length and breadth of the country.

The Black Stars’ skipper equalized soon after a dubious penalty was awarded to Portugal in the second half which was cooly converted by the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo.

Dede’s goal evoked wild celebration across the country and evident in this video shared herein, Ghana’s rap king Sarkodie could not restrain himself as he jumped up and down to celebrate the goal.

Unfortunately for him and Ghanaians, Portugal went on to win the match 3-2 in a game that has been described by football fans as the best game of the tournament so far.

In the same breath, most fans and connoisseurs of the game have slammed the referee for robbing the spirited Ghanaians.
