2022 FIFA World Cup: Black Stars in high spirits ahead of Portugal game on Thursday

Team Ghana is in high spirits ahead of Thursday’s opening Group H game at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qater.

The Black Stars will come up against the Portuguese tomorrow afternoon as they open their account at the Mundial, looking to get the campaign going with a good result.

News coming from the camp of the Black Stars in Qatar, speaks of high team spirit, with everyone one looking forward to the game against the Europeans.

Ghana coach Otto Addo is optimistic of a good performance in this upcoming fixture and believes the boys will rise to the occasion.

The 2-0 win over Switzerland in the team’s final friendly before departing for the tournament, has lifted up tempo within the squad with a very positive karma blowing.

Captain Andre Ayew has rallied the boys to be fired up for the game insisting that Ghana will do everything possible to get the campaign off to a good start.

Also in the group are South Korea and Uruguay, and the Black Stars hope to get the result against Portugal and move on to face the aforementioned teams positively.
