Michael Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, often known as Teacher Kwadwo, received a termination notice from the Ghana Education Service (GES) in 2021.
The GES said he was let go for excessive insubordination, while some critics argued he was sent go because of his advocacy for teachers and students.
Teacher Kwadwo claims that his license was withdrawn by GES as a result of his frequent communications with the government agency.

But to the best knowledge of Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, all is not well with Teacher Kwadwo following his GES dismissal as he has reduced his life to anything smoking
According to Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, Teacher Kwadwo should compare his old and current pictures to see the difference.
She, therefore, advised Teacher Kwadwo to put a stop to smoking, drinking; have enough sleep as better days are ahead else, he will mess up his life by becoming a jonkie!
