Maverick Politician and businessman Akwasi Addae popularly known as Odike will always speak his mind without fear or favor and wouldn’t succumb to the threat of any individual irrespective of the position he/she occupies.
The gentleman stormed the studio of Onua Tv this morning to pour his heart out about the electoral commission’s decision to cancel the registration certificates of 17 political parties his own United Progressive Party(UPP).
According to the founder and leader of UPP, the ruling government is behind the plot to get his party banned simply because he is vociferous and criticizes their wrong deeds. To him, the decision to cancel his registration certificate by the EC was to prevent him from speaking about national issues.
He, however, stated emphatically that he isn’t worried but will continue to voice out his concerns regarding national issues.Â
Commenting further on illegal mining also known as galamsey, he opined that the whole government machinery is complicit in the act and they blow hot and cold to deceive the masses into thinking they are fighting the menace.
“I am not a coward, I regard them as nonentities and assure them 200% that until Ghana becomes successful, I won’t stop talking,” he concluded.
