Black Stars Defender Wins Big Ahead of World Cup

Black Stars defender, Daniel Amartey saw full time in Leicester City’s 2-0 win at West Ham United.

Leicester City have struggled in the start of the English Premier League under experienced trainer, Brendan Rodgers but have recently seen a renaissance.

The Foxes shot their noses in front as early as the eighth minute through the boot of James Maddison at the London Stadium.

Leicester City could have increased the tally on the 42nd minute but Belgium international, Youri Tielemans wasted his spot kick to keep the game at 1-0 for the Foxes.

The game was kept at 1-0 going into the halftime break at the London Stadium.

Back from the first half break, Daniel Amartey was in solid form for the Foxes who kept the pressure on the Hammers much to the joy of scanty traveling fans.

The Foxes doubled their lead when Harvey Barnes netted the second goal on the 78th minutes mark to pile pressure on David Moyes.

The win improves Leicester Cit’s standings on the league and Daniel Amartey’s confidence ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
